Ben Barker is the Director of Business Development at Accuplan Benefits Services and one of the most experienced professionals in the self-directed IRA industry. With over 20 years of experience helping thousands of individuals invest in alternative assets through their retirement accounts, Ben has played a direct role in shaping the SDIRA industry into what it is today.

Over two decades, Ben has guided investors through the full range of self-directed retirement account structures — from real estate and precious metals to private equity, cryptocurrency, private lending, and checkbook IRA LLCs. His hands-on experience spans complex transactions including partial ownership real estate structures, nonrecourse lending, and retirement fund business financing through the MYSOP structure.

Beyond his extensive SDIRA expertise, Ben brings a strong foundation in accounting and finance — experience that informs the precision and compliance-first approach he brings to every client relationship.

Ben is based in Riverton, Utah, and works with clients across the country.
